Abstract

In the article some modern numerical methods of the solution of applied mathematical tasks are considered, algorithms are modified and machine codes of programming in the environment of Borland of C ++ are developed. Speed of convergence and accuracy of result of an algorithm of the adapted Brent's method are compared with results of Bolzano, "Golden ratio" and Secant Methods, on a concrete example advantage of Brent's method is defined.
